ATAL
International Workshop on Agent Theories, Architectures, and Languages (1994—2001)
ATAL was the workshop series that gave the agent field much of its theoretical vocabulary, built around three themes: agent theories, agent architectures and agent languages. It ran eight times between 1994 and 2001, the first three as a workshop of ECAI and IJCAI and then on its own, and every edition produced a volume of the *Intelligent Agents* series in Springer LNAI — from LNAI 890 to LNAI 2333. After the eighth edition ATAL was absorbed into AAMAS as a track, which is why DBLP's conf/atal venue continues as the AAMAS series.
