PNCWB set out to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in the broader issues of describing and analysing coordination, workflow and business process management problems using Petri nets or similar formalisms. It was a one-day satellite event of the 26th International Conference on Application and Theory of Petri Nets and Other Models of Concurrency, held in Miami from 20 to 25 June 2005.
