Modelling Autonomous Agents in a Multi-Agent World

The theme of this ninth Workshop is Multi-Agent System Engineering. This involves: (i) understanding the process of incorporating agent technology for building robust and secure large scale applications; (ii) developing new methodologies, new methods and new tools facilitating the construction, management, and evolution of innovative agent-based systems. Issues of interest include: new models, new architectures, and/or new formalisms to deal with aspects like robustness, security, fault tolerance, performance, continuous operation, management and mobility. Engineering and application issues include: emerging MAS methodologies — specification, design implementation, testing validation, deployment, reuse, standards, testbeds, benchmarking, MAS/Distributed systems/legacy system integration, MAS mobility, etc.
