Call for Tutorials

RTSI 2016 will host tutorials covering topics of interests to academics, researchers and industry professionals. The RTSI 2016 Tutorial Program is intended to offer high quality information, picking up the latest developments in Research and Technologies for Society and Industry. 

The tutorials will be part of the main conference technical program, and are free of charge for the attendees of the conference. Each tutorial will be arranged in time slots of 1:30 hours including questions to the lecturer(s). 

We encourage submissions of tutorial proposals from active researchers and experienced professionals on all topics within the general scope of RTSI 2016 (please check the RTSI webpage for a full list of topics). Tutorials introducing new perspectives and significant applications in the areas of electrical, electronic and information science and engineering are highly encouraged. The content may focus on state-of-the-art research, research challenges, advances in technologies and/or research methodologies as well as on new and emerging applications. The tutorial proposals should not exceed three pages. Each proposal should be in a single PDF file according to the following structure:

  1. Tutorial title. 
  2. Speaker(s) name and topics covered in the tutorial. 
  3. Summary of the tutorial
  4. Importance and timeliness of the tutorial. 
  5. Preferred duration (two time slots tutorials can be proposed by a single or multiple lecturers).
  6. A Brief CV for each speaker (no more than 300 words per person).
  7. Contact details (E-mail, Telephone and Address) 

The proposal document should be submitted via email to the tutorial chair at the following address: Dr. Daniela Proto, Tutorial Chair. The deadline for submissions is May 20, 2016.
