Formula Extension 14.8 Released

The Formula Extension 14.8 has been released.

The Formula macro is now automatically discoverable by XWiki and the support for exporting to LaTeX has been added (it was previously located in the LaTeX extension itself but has now been moved out since the Formula macro is no longer bundled in XWiki Standard).

LaTeX Extension 1.25 Released

The LaTeX Extension 1.25 has been released. It's a bugfix release and it also prevents the Figure Macro to be installed automatically. In addition the support for the Formula Macro has been moved to its own extension, which you'll need to install if you use it and want to export to LaTeX.

The Figure Extension 15.4.3 and 15.4.4 have been released. The main change is the addition of a new Figure Macro API (this allows the LaTeX extension to no longer install the Figure Macro by default).

Diagram Application 1.3 Released

The Diagram Application 1.3 has been released. This extension is not supported by the XWiki developers. It's being released since it had some bugfixes since 2017 that had not been released. It's recommended to use the Diagram Application (Pro) which offers new features (draw.io upgrade, SVG-based PDF export, better link management and Gliffy diagrams support) and bug fixes including blocker issue Can't import a diagram and more.

XWiki 16.2.0 Released

The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 16.2.0. The realtime WYSIWYG editing feature has been added to XWiki (but turned off by default as it's still considered experimental). In addition this release brings performance improvements when pages have lots of revisions. In term of important infrastructure changes, XWiki has moved from Restlet to Jersey for its REST API and from Solr 8 to Solr 9 (a migration has been included). XWiki is progressing on its path for being WCAG 2.1 AA compliant and several improvements have been made. And bug fixes as usual. See the release notes for more information.

Release Notes Application 2.1 Released

The Release Notes Application 2.1 has been released. This release adds an optional parameter to the {{releasenotes}} macro to exclude changes from the displayed release notes. Also, it only displays edit links for changes when the user has edit rights, and fixes some bugs.
