Socio-technical knowledge-intensive environments have three peculiar traits: unpredictability of agents’ behaviour, ever-growing amount of information to manage, fast-paced infor- mation production/consumption rate. Both contribute to tangle support to meaningful coordination. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to coordination in socio-technical knowledge- intensive environments, based on the cognitive theory of be- havioural implicit communication.
