Welcome to the 2008 International Conference on Multimedia and Ubiquitous Engineering (MUE 2008). On behalf of the conference committees, we thank you for your participation, and hope that you will enjoy the presentations and social programs offered in this conference.

Based on the great success of 1st MUE 2007 conference, 2nd International Conference on Multimedia and Ubiquitous Engineering (MUE 2008) will be the most comprehensive conference focused on the various aspects of advances in Multimedia and Ubiquitous Engineering. Multimedia and Ubiquitous is emerging rapidly as an exciting new paradigm to provide computing life services any time, any where. Our Conference provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of multimedia and ubiquitous environment including models and systems, new directions, novel applications associated with the utilization and acceptance of ubiquitous computing devices and systems.
