Machine Ethics: approaches and architectures

In recent years we are moving towards systems that have to be consid- ered moral agents: they need to make choices with ethical consequences. Machine ethics is a field of AI that deal with the question of how to imbued systems with ethical values. Allen [4] identify mainly three approaches to machine ethics: top-down, bottom-up and hybrid approach. In light of this classification this project propose a systematic literature review of the main approaches for machine ethics, presenting some architectures and analyzing them.
