Identifying and Mitigating Biases in Recruitment

Bias in candidate selection is a critical issue that can undermine fair- ness and equity in hiring processes. This study investigates biases related to gender, age, and location using two real-world datasets produced by Adecco. The research employs a structured pipeline consisting of data ex- ploration, preprocessing, bias detection, and bias mitigation. The analysis will explore biases related to gender, age, and location within the datasets, emphasizing the need for effective detection and mitigation strategies.
