abstract
Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) is a platform for distributed ledger solutions based on the blockchain technology. In particular, HLF comes with a modular architecture where the consensus approach is pluggable and it enables users to deploy their own smart contracts (or chaincode) written in Go. The aim of this project is to experiment how such a novel approach to distributed system may be exploited. In particular, we are interested in understanding how an HLF system can be deployed, how smart contracts can should be developed, how practical they are and to which sorts of applications. As an emblematic case study, we are interested in reproducing the archetypal Linda coordination model by means of HLF-powered smart-contracts, because it comes with both computation- and interaction-related aspects
