Molecules of knowledge: a new approach to knowledge production, management and consumption
Information specialists - i.e. journalists - are currently poorly-assisted during the information production lifecycle, because most of their work is still hand-done. Systems such as Storify and the like are trying to address this issue providing some interesting tool for stories assembly with the aim to enhance the so-called "citizen journalism". In my thesis, I will investigate a novel approach to knowledge management - not necessarly limited to the journalistic application domain but focussed on it - based upon the newest coordination paradigms - in particular exploring the chemical metaphore.
