This book constitutes the proceedings of the 6th International Workshop on Programming Multi-Agent Systems held in Estoril, Portugal in May 2008 in conjunction with AAMAS 2008, the 7th International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems. ProMAS 2008 received 27 submissions, of which 12 papers were accepted for presentation.
