This book constitutes the proceedings of the 3rd International Workshop on Programming Multi-Agent Systems held in Utrecht, The Netherlands in July 2005 in conjunction with AAMAS 2005, the 4th International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems. Besides the fourteen accepted papers, revised after the workshop, the volume collects two invited papers.
