The article argues that AI language models, despite their impressive capabilities, cannot truly contain truth like human language. Drawing on the philosophical insights of Foucault and Heidegger, it highlights the limitations of AI discourse. Foucault emphasises the role of empathy and meaning in human language, while Heidegger’s analysis of authentic discourse exposes AI’s inability to stake its existence on its words.
