SOAS

SOAS was Huaglory Tianfield's conference on self-organization and self-management as the answer to the exponential complexity of large-scale IT systems, drawing together multi-agent systems, grid computing, autonomic computing and autonomic communications. It was itinerant and attached itself to a larger event each year — NODe in Erfurt in 2006, SABRE in Leipzig in 2007. The conference changed one word of its own name between those two editions, from "Autonomic Systems" to "Autonomous Systems". APICe records the two editions over which Andrea Omicini served on the programme committee.
