SPACE 2007

Collaboration rests on autonomous interaction and information exchange, and when autonomous entities are deployed in open environments privacy becomes fundamental, because those entities act on behalf of their owners: the owners should know who holds their private information, who can access it and for what purpose, and how it is handled, so that unauthorised change or transfer can be avoided. This is the edition where the workshop changed both its home and its name. PSACE 2007 was not accepted at AAMAS 2007, so the organisers resubmitted the proposal to IFIPTM 2007 — the joint iTrust and PST conferences on privacy, trust management and security, and the first annual meeting of the new IFIP Working Group 11.11 — where it was accepted under the broadened title Sustaining Privacy in Autonomous Collaborative Environments. The workshops and tutorials of IFIPTM 2007 ran on 30 and 31 July.
