International Transactions on Systems Science and Applications has agreed to publish a Special Issues Volume of all accepted regular or short papers which will be available at the conference. Also, please note the changed deadlines of papers: Submission: 21 May 2006 Notification of acceptance or rejection: 18 June 2006 Proposals for Invited sessions, Tutorials, or Panels: 18 June 2006 Camera ready version: 16 July 2006 For details see: http://www.soas2006.org/ The SOAS2006 conference right aims to provide a timely forum to present the latest theoretical and practical results on self-organization and adaptation that have been arising in recent years in the areas of Multi-agent Systems and Grid Computing, and on Autonomic Computing and Autonomic Communications. SOAS2006 conference will also serve as an exclusive opportunity to think about the challenges and to shape the future. SOAS2006 conference is an integral event and is comprised of five thematic streams as manifested in the form of "workshops" as follows. Workshop 1: Basic Principles and Methodologies for Self-Organization and Adaptation Workshop 2: Self-Organization/Adaptation of Multi-Agent Systems Workshop 3: Self-Organizing/Autonomic Grid Computing Workshop 4: Autonomic Computing in General Workshop 5: Autonomic Communications Submissions Manuscripts to be submitted to the conference should not have been published or been under review for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts for submission can be free formatted on A4 paper with proper top/bottom and left/right margins, 12 points Times New Roman fonts, single-line spacing, one column throughout. A manuscript should be complete with authors, affiliations including e-mail and phone/fax numbers, abstract, keywords, body of text, and reference. There is no page limitation for submission. Information on Camera-Ready Versions of accepted papers will be available in due course. When submitting, authors should state clearly which workshop their manuscripts are submitted for. Submissions should be in either a PDF/postscript file or a Microsoft Word doc file, and should be sent to the Program Chair via <mailto:h.tianfield@gcal.ac.uk> e-mail with 'SOAS06' in the e-mail subject. However, Program Chair reserves the right to accept a manuscript to a different workshop which they see is more suitable. Proposals for Invited Sessions, Tutorials or Panels on highly interesting topics are particularly welcome, and should be sent to the Invited-Sessions/Tutorials/Panel Chair via e-mail <mailto:hzhu@brookes.ac.uk> . Publications Manuscripts will be reviewed by presumably three members of the Program Committee. All manuscripts accepted by SOAS2006 as regular or short papers will be published by the International Transactions on <http://www.xiaglow-institute.org.uk/> Systems Science and Applications as its Special Issues Volume which is available for participants present at the conference.
