RMAS-2003
Session on Representing Multiagent Systems
Orlando, Florida, USA, 27/07/2003–30/07/2003
Multi-agent systems are often characterised as extensions of object-oriented systems, an oversimplification that troubles designers trying to capture what is distinctive about MAS with OO tools. RMAS asked how agent-oriented software engineering could benefit from UML and other modelling languages, with Agent UML, AOR, PASSI and Tropos all on the table and the declared hope that a unification of the different approaches might come out of the confrontation. It was a session of the 7th World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, and its proceedings were announced for Springer-Verlag.
