Prolog has developed as a programming language from early academic beginnings and exclusive association with Artificial Intelligence, to become an effective software tool for the development and delivery of serious industrial and commercial applications. Sponsored by the Prolog Vendors Group, and the Association for Logic Programming, the conference provides a forum for technical exchange between all members of the world-wide Prolog community: academics; industrialists; and Prolog systems vendors. The programme will include paper presentations, invited talks, plenary and panel sessions, tutorials and workshops ... all focusing on applications developed in Prolog, that are destined for practical use.
