3rd Workshop on Multi-Agents for Modelling Complex Systems
Dresden, Germany, 05/10/2007

The multi-agent paradigm is increasingly used as a tool for modelling, simulating and programming complex systems across disciplines — mechanics, economics, urbanism, sociology, biology, computer science. MA4CS brought together researchers from the multi-agent and complex-systems communities to cross-fertilise the two, and to look for theories, tools, formal and operational models and methodologies for multi-agent approaches to complex systems. It ran as a satellite of the European Conference on Complex Systems. The third edition was a satellite conference of ECCS'07, which ran in Dresden from 1 to 6 October 2007. It was organised in four tracks — biology, cognition, socio-economics, and information technology and computing — and received eleven submissions, of which eight were accepted.
