MA4CS'05
1st Workshop on Multi-Agents for Modelling Complex Systems
Paris, France, 18/11/2005
The multi-agent paradigm is increasingly used as a tool for modelling, simulating and programming complex systems across disciplines — mechanics, economics, urbanism, sociology, biology, computer science. MA4CS brought together researchers from the multi-agent and complex-systems communities to cross-fertilise the two, and to look for theories, tools, formal and operational models and methodologies for multi-agent approaches to complex systems. It ran as a satellite of the European Conference on Complex Systems. The first edition was a satellite workshop of ECCS'05, which ran in Paris from 14 to 18 November 2005; the workshop itself was held on the closing day.
