SIWN International Conference on Adaptive Business Systems

Information technologies powered by the next generation Internet were changing the ways, the processes and the philosophies of businesses; business systems in every perspective — management, workflow, information, infrastructure, automation — were evolving towards being autonomic, adaptive, self-managing and self-organising. ICABS 2007 was the SIWN response to that trend, a forum for researchers, practitioners and industrial professionals across nine thematic technical tracks, among them industrial applications of multi-agent systems and self-organisation and emergence. It was co-located with CODS 2007 and AOSDM 2007 in Chengdu and the three conferences ran one joint programme. Accepted papers appeared in System and Information Sciences Notes, with extended versions invited to the International Transactions on Systems Science and Applications.
