EPIA 2007, 13th Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence

3 – 7 December 2007, Guimarães, Portugal

EPIA 2007 is the Thirteen Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence
(AI).

The purpose of this conference is to promote the research in AI and
scientific exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, scientists and
engineers in related disciplines.

The program has been arranged in terms of workshops dedicated to specific
themes of AI and invited lectures. The program will include a doctoral
consortium. The conference is devoted to all areas of Artificial
Intelligence and will cover both theoretical and foundational issues and
applications as well.
The official language is the English.

Proceedings

The main proceedings of the conference will be published as a Springer LNAI
volume. In this edition a total of 210 contributions were received from 29
countries. From the submitted contributions, 58 were selected for
publication in the main proceedings as full papers. The acceptance rate was
27.6%, ensuring the high quality and diversity of topics and perspectives.
