Autonomic Computing addresses the need for systems to cope with and manage complex, heterogeneous and dynamic environments without human intervention. EEDAS brings together researchers working on emergence, self-organisation, distributed adaptive systems and autonomic computing and communication, to engineer decentralised systems whose global behaviour emerges from local interactions.
