3rd European Agent Systems Summer School

The European Agent Systems Summer School offers a forum for knowledge exchange between the various research groups in autonomous agents and multi-agent systems, for the benefit of students and researchers at both beginner and advanced level. Each edition provides a range of state-of-the-art courses given by prominent researchers in the area; a typical course is four hours in total, broad enough to introduce its topic while covering the most important contributions in depth. Held jointly with ACAI 2001, the 9th ECCAI Advanced Course on Artificial Intelligence. Selected tutorial papers from the two events were published as Springer LNAI 2086, “Multi-Agent Systems and Applications”.
