One of the most distinguishing requirements upon information and communication technologies is today's ever-changing, highly open dynamic environments in which large-scale ICT systems are placed to operate. Challenges for ICT systems engineering immediately arise — systems scalability, ultra-dependability, convergence against uncertainty and emergence. CODS is organised in twelve thematic technical tracks spanning grid computing and virtual organisations, service-oriented architectures, autonomous computing and networking, emergence and self-organisation, open dynamic multi-agent systems, and distributed intelligence.
