Topics of Interest

The conference covers broadly the many aspects of theoretical and applied 
Artificial Intelligence. A series of workshops dedicated to specific topics 
will complement the main conference program. 
AI*IA 2018 welcomes submissions on original and unpublished research across 
all areas of AI, including (but not limited to) traditional topics such as 
machine learning, search, planning, knowledge representation, reasoning, 
constraint satisfaction, natural language processing, robotics and 
perception, and multiagent systems. 
We encourage all types of contributions including theoretical, engineering 
and applied. 
We also encourage papers on AI techniques in the context of novel 
application domains, such as security, sustainability, health care, 
transportation, and commerce.

Submission Instructions
-----------------------------------------------------------------

We welcome and encourage the submission of high-quality, original papers, 
which are not being submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere.
Papers should be written in English, formatted according to the Springer 
LNCS style, and not exceed 12 pages plus bibliography.

Best Papers

From the accepted submissions, we will be selecting two award winners: the 
Best Student Paper Award and the Best Paper Award.
