What's new in XWiki

The ActivityPub Application 1.7.12 has been released. XWiki is able to federate with Mastodon again.

The MCP Server (BETA) v0.10 has been released.

Version 0.10 of the MCP Server (BETA) extension offers users attachment handling and structured-data tools, as well as page delete, navigation, history and backlink tools. Additionally, the extension adds an AWM reference page, a hidden flag on the write tools, search and RAG fixes, internationalization support and a server URL config field.

The OAuth2 and OpenID Connect Extension 2.27.0 has been released. It adds support for sending the RP-initiated logout request to the provider as POST instead of GET, for providers which do not accept the default GET request.

The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 17.10.13. This is a bug fix release. It also contains security fixes, with the highest severity being 9.3/10. See the release notes for more information.

The OAuth2 and OpenID Connect Extension 2.26.0 has been released. It's mainly focusing on straitening security on tokens and authentication flow. It introduced a new token format. The old tokens which are using the old format keep working, but any new token will use the new format, and it's recommended to replace older tokens with new one. The Release Notes Application 2.6.1 has been released. This bug fix release improves the flow and simple change displayers, moves the last two hardcoded strings into the translation bundle, and brings a series of security hardening fixes.

The Cristal Integration extension 1.10.0 has been released. This version updates Cristal to version 1.7.0, which fixes an issue with page creation for XWiki instances running on Tomcat. You can refer to Cristal's release notes for a more exhaustive list of changes. Note that this version is not compatible with version 2.21 or higher of OpenID Connect Provider.

Cristal 1.7.0 is now released. This is a bugfix release, also including improvements coming from XWiki 18.7.0. See the release notes for more details.

The Release Notes Application 2.4, 2.4.1, 2.5 and 2.6 have been released. These releases move the release note and change lists to Live Data, allow configuring the application from the Administration UI, make screenshots editable directly while editing a change, fix concurrent change creation and version range filtering, and improve the internationalization and the accessibility of the application.
