abstract
In this report we document the concept, design and testing of MarafoNet, a digitalised version of Marafone a traditional card game from Italy. The system’s design is focused on distribution as its main aspect, elicitating the benefits that this approach brings and defining requirements to be satisfied both for distribution and user-related. The features of the game are explained and modeled in an architecture coherent with the requirements cited. Security and scalability issues are addressed. Implementation strategies and integration between technologies are shown to achieve requirements and the architecture planned. Finally, tests are displayed to verify the correctness of the system’s operations as well as the insfrastructure components used. A guide will help the user deploy, use the system and understand the rules of the game.
