Class : Coursedecks.Class

A course deck is a deck of slides of one APICe course. Its page is Coursedeck.<Course>.<Label> , under the course's own deck home Coursedeck.<Course>.WebHome . It is created from the Slides page of the course, with its button New deck.

Course, Label, Sort

  • Course of the Deck (course: DBList) — the course the deck belongs to
    • filled when the deck is created from the Slides page of the course; never typed by hand
  • Deck Label (label: String) — the label of the deck in its course, as M5 , 3a , S1 
    • it is also the name of the deck page
    • when none is given, the first natural number not yet used in the course (1, 2, …)
    • decks are listed in natural order of their labels: M10 after M9 
  • Deck Sort (sort: StaticList) — the sort of deck; the list on the Slides page is grouped by it

Title, Language

  • Deck Title (title: String) — the title of the deck
    • required; the list shows it as label – title
  • Deck Language (language: StaticList) — the language of the deck

Authors, Presenter, Description

  • Deck Authors (authors: Users) — the authors of the deck
    • APICe users by their account; anyone else as Name Surname or as an Orcid.<iD> page
    • shown on the deck page, not in the list of the course
  • Deck Presenter (presenter: Users) — who presents the deck in the course; optional
    • in the list of the course, shown after the title only when not among the course's professors (professor, other professors)
  • Deck Description (description: TextArea) — what the deck is about

Files

  • Slides HTML (html: String) — the HTML of the slides
    • kept on Coursedeck.Local.<Course>.<Label> , for logged-in users only; public only through its switch
  • Show Slides HTML (show_html: Boolean) — the switch: when on, a public copy of the HTML is on the deck page; off when the deck is created
  • Sources of the Slides HTML (htmlsources: String) — the sources of the HTML; restricted, always
  • Slides PDF (pdf: String) — the PDF of the slides; kept on the restricted twin, as the HTML
  • Show Slides PDF (show_pdf: Boolean) — the switch: when on, a public copy of the PDF is on the deck page; off when the deck is created
  • Sources of the Slides PDF (pdfsources: String) — the sources of the PDF; restricted, always
  • Cover for the Deck (cover: String) — the cover of the deck, its first slide; public
  • Card for the Deck (card: String) — the picture of the deck when its page is shared on the Web; it follows the cover
  • Other files — every other file of the deck, with no field: kept on the restricted twin

URLs and IDs

  • Working URL for the Slides (urlworking: String) — the repository of the slide sources; shown to logged-in users only
  • Lab Repository (laburlworking: String) — the repository of the lab of the deck, if any; shown to logged-in users only
  • AMS Campus Resource ID (ams: String) — the id of the deck as a resource of AMS Campus, the University teaching service closed in 2018–2019; the list of the course shows its symbol dimmed, with the old link as a tooltip, until AMS Campus is active again
  • DOI (doi: String) — the DOI of the deck, if deposited
  • VLE (Virtuale) Resource ID (vle: String) — the id of the deck as a resource of Virtuale; the list of the course links it in a new tab
  • Zenodo ID (zenodo: String) — the Zenodo id of the deck, if deposited
