Biography

I was born in Ferrara, Italy, on 16 June 1980, and I currently live in Bologna.

Studies

High-school degree at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale N. Copernico, 1999
BSc in Computer Engineering at the Alma Mater Studiorum–Università di Bologna, July 2002, cum laude
MSc in Computer Engineering at the Alma Mater Studiorum–Università di Bologna, October 2004, cum laude
I started my Ph.D. course in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering at the DEIS department of the Università di Bologna in January 2005, with coordinator Professor Antonio Natali. Also in the group were Professors Enrico Denti, Andrea Omicini, Alessandro Ricci and Mirko Viroli
I got my Ph.D. degree in April 2008, by discussing the thesis “Meta-models, Environment and Layers: Agent-Oriented Engineering of Complex Systems”
