Luca Di Gaspero is Assistant Professor of Information Technology at the School of Educational Sciences, University of Udine, Italy.
His research interests ranges from Artificial Intelligence (study and application of meta-heuristics to combinatorial optimization problems), to Software Engineering (Design and Development of object-oriented frameworks for local search), up to Information Retrieval (evaluation of IR quality metrics). He is a member of the Scheduling and Timetabling Group at the Department of Electrical, Management and Mechanical Engineering and has authored or co-authored more than 40 scientific articles on international journals and conferences.
