The digital transformation of Human Resources (HR) is critical for modern organizations seeking to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and align HR operations with strategic goals. This thesis examines the adoption of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud at the Trevi Group and delves into its impact on HR processes, the challenges faced during implementation, and future opportunities for innovation.

Legacy HR systems at Trevi Group were fragmented, inefficient, and lacked integration across global operations. These limitations had a negative impact on areas such as workforce management, data accuracy and decision-making, even more as the organization expanded. The transition to Oracle HCM aimed to centralize HR processes, automate workflows, and enable data-driven insights through analytics.

Despite the results being mostly positive, as in any corporate transformation multiple challenges arose, including resistance to change, the complexity of integrating Oracle HCM with other enterprise systems, and higher-than-expected costs due to customization requirements. These issues highlight the importance of effective change management and ongoing support for digital transformation initiatives.

The adoption of Oracle HCM allowed HR to transition from transactional tasks to a more strategic role within Trevi Group. Predictive analytics facilitated workforce planning, risk management, and talent retention, aligning HR practices with broader business objectives.

Looking ahead, the thesis i dentifi es opportunities to i ntegrate additional Oracle modules, such as Analytics and QHSE, which could further enhance decisionmaking and compliance. Additionally, the adoption of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence offers potential for further innovation in HR.

In conclusion, the implementation of Oracle HCM at Trevi Group exemplifies the transformative potential of digital HR systems. While challenges persist, the case underscores the strategic value of HR digitalization in fostering efficiency, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
