Special Session on Adaptation and Services: Agents, Methodologies and Applications
Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, 16/01/2018 – 18/01/2018
This special session will provide the opportunity to present and discuss research in the intersection between service-oriented engineering and self-adaptive systems. Whereas classical service orientation focuses on the development of software systems by composition of reusable services, self-adaptation proved to be effective for implementing robust and flexible applications. The theory and practice of self-adaptation may be used for handling dynamic environments and for granting continuity of services also in case of unexpected changes of the operative context. |
