Abstract

The BDI (Belief-Desire-Intention) model is a well known software model for programming intelligent agents. However, this model has some limitations, which can be addressed through the integration of other technologies and techniques. This work aims at categorizing the types of possible integrations to the BDI model, in order to understand in what ways it can be augmented and in which field it can be employed. A Systematic Literature Review process has been carried out following a methodological approach, with the claim of becoming a starting point for defining new research areas and future projects.
