SARC

SARC was Emmanuel Adam's workshop on the two properties that matter most in holonic multi-agent systems — robustness and cooperation — approached through self-adaptation and self-organisation, and meant to connect the information technologies community with the holonic manufacturing systems one. It ran twice at SASO, in Venice in 2008 and San Francisco in 2009, widening its scope from holonic MAS to MAS in general in the second year. A third edition was proposed for SASO 2010 in Budapest and was not accepted; the organisers hoped for a SARC'2011 that never came.
