ICCCI 2013

5th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence Technologies and Applications
Craiova, Romania, 11/09/2013 – 13/09/2013.
ICCCI 2013 is an international scientific conference for research in the field of Computational Collective Intelligence (CCI), to be held on 11-13 September 2013 in Craiova, Romania. Computational Collective Intelligence is most often understood as an AI sub-field dealing with soft computing methods which enable making group decisions or processing knowledge among autonomous units acting in distributed environments. Web-based systems, social networks and multi-agent systems very often need these tools for working out consistent knowledge states, resolving conflicts and making decisions. The aim of this conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the computer-based methods of collective intelligence and their applications in (but not limited to) such fields as group decision making, consensus computing, knowledge integration, semantic web, social networks and multi-agent systems. ICCCI 2013 is organized by University of Craiova in Romania, and Wroclaw University of Technology in Poland. The conference proceedings will be published in the prestigious series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence of Springer-Verlag (the publication announcement has already been included in the list of LNCS Forthcoming Proceedings) and indexed by ISI (CP), EI, Scopus, DBLP, ACM Digital Library etc. ICCCI 2013 is organized in cooperation with IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Computational Collective Intelligence.
